In the context of the global crisis generated by the COVID-19 outbreak, the board of the Romanian Cultural Institute has decided on the extension, to 15 July 2020, of the new call for applications within the Translation and Publication Support (TPS) and Publishing Romania financing programmes. Subsequently, the proposed calendar changes as follows:
15 November 2019 - 15 July 2020 - The submission, by the foreign publishers, of the application files, by post only, per the guidelines of the two financing programmes. The «2019 - 2020» call for applications strictly concerns titles to be published in 2021.
15-30 September 2020 - The assessment, by a panel of independent experts, of the complete and valid applications. The evaluating panel will prioritise the editorial projects based on the score they obtained, also establishing the quantum of the financing to be granted by the ICR.
15 October 2020: The Publicizing, upon prior validation by the Board of Directors of the Romanian Cultural Institute, on the platforms www.cennac.ro and www.icr.ro, of the evaluation results.
1-30 November 2020: The conclusion of the grant contracts with the winning publishing houses, with 2021 as term for the reimbursement by the ICR
