Between 13 – 19 March 2009 the National Book Centre will be present for the first time at Salon du Livre in Paris, the largest editorial event in France. The stand will display a selection of the books, albums and magazines published with the support of our financing programmes, of which 10 have been published in France, as well as information booklets and materials presenting the programmes and projects of the Romanian Cultural Institute.
Together with Institut Culturel Roumain de Paris, the National Book Centre will be organizing the release of two new volumes and a literary magazine issue, published through the Translation and Publication Support and Publishing Romania programmes, as follows:

- from 15:30 - the release of the Poètes roumains contemporains (Romanian Contemporary Poets) issue of the French Literary magazine Confluences poétiques, 2008
- from 16:00 – the release of the Gabriela Adameşteanu’s novel Vienne le jour, Editions Gallimard, 2009, translated by Marily Le Nir
