The Romanian Cultural Institute, through the National Book Center (CENNAC), launches the „Frankfurt 2028 special call for applications'' within the Translation and Publication Support Programme (TPS) and Publishing Romania financing programs for translations of Romanian books and publications abroad, in German and English.
„Frankfurt 2028 special call for applications" is aimed at titles to be published in 2027.
The application files are to be submitted only online, by email (tps@icr.ro for TPS and publishingromania@icr.ro for Publishing Romania).
The application files will be received from September 15 until November 15, 2026, in accordance with the schedule presented below. The deadline for application is November 15, 2026 (23:59, Romanian hour). The assessment will be made by a panel of independent experts, selected after a public call for applications.
